He sets the overall vision, culture and strategy for Healthrite™. He has over 25 years of experience building and scaling businesses and was previously President of the three largest divisions of Guthy-Renker. He also founded and sold a direct marketing company to then-NYSE company E4L. He co-founded a 24/7 shopping channel in the UK along with Far East Limited and has implemented marketing campaigns for Nucerity, NassifMD, and others. He is a co-founder of Soakness, a patented hydrogen peroxide bath product, and has extensive experience commercializing scientific breakthroughs. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business.

He promotes the company through a variety of boards, platforms, and industry relationships. His 50-year career has seen him universally recognized as one of the true visionaries in the wellness space. He was the Founder and President of Leiner Health Products, the largest US vitamin manufacturer with distribution in over 60K retail outlets and $500M in annual sales. He founded and created HealthWell Ventures, a nutritional science-based product development company, has served on the Board of Vitamin Angels and created the Feeling Fine Company, which launched standardized herbal extracts and science-based vitamins and was featured on NBC’s Today Show. He is a graduate of USC and the Marshall School of Business.

He is responsible for aligning product creation with underlying science and pharmacology. He also assists in product development and acts as a scientific ambassador to recruit industry and academic partners. He is a recipient of the Nobel Prize in Medicine and the Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for jointly discovering nitric oxide as a critical signaling molecule in the cardiovascular system in 1998, a discovery hailed as one of the most important discoveries in the history of cardiovascular medicine. He has extensive experience in the development of pharmaceutical products, including being Vice President and Director of Research at Abbo Labs, where he was responsible for all drug research and development projects. He has taught and engaged in clinical work at top universities throughout the US, including the University of Virginia, Northwestern University, and Stanford University.

He is responsible for product creation and development as well as clinical application, validation, and design. He collaborates with marketing and legal counsel regarding product positioning and permissible claims. He is a physician-scientist with expertise in medical physiology, metabolism, and translational science and his scientific contributions span fields including dermatology, metabolism, nutrition, cardiology, and endocrine physiology. He has innovated products for Fortune 50 companies (Gilead Sciences, Medtronic Minimed) and retains a position on the research and teaching faculty in Biology and Medical Engineering at Caltech. He was also the recipient of the Keck Discovery Award for innovative biomedical science. He is the author of numerous articles, an editor for Diabetes, Science, and Technology Journal, and the Director of the Global Virtual Hospital, a multi-university telehealth program.
